Beginner-friendliness → Talaria, clearly. Four power modes against two, and a published 20 mph limited mode. Most bikes in this class publish no limited-mode figure at all, so this is a real and uncommon feature rather than marketing. A new rider can start the MX4 genuinely slow and grow into it. On the Light Bee X the low mode is still a lot of bike.

Its two real advantages — four power modes and a published 20 mph limiter — are beginner features, and a beginner is exactly who should consider it.

For everyone else, the $100 saving is the least interesting reason to buy the Sur-Ron. Buy it because in three years there will still be parts for it.
