E-Ride Pro SS 3.0 Review (2026)
- What changed
- We listed the SS 3.0 at 62 mph. E-Ride publishes 60 mph. The 62 was transcribed from the range row of the same spec table, which reads '62+ MILES @25mph'.
- Detail
- Neither source we cite supports 62 mph: E-Ride's own page says 60, and the dealer lists it as shipping restricted to 20 mph out of the box. The claimed range was wrong too, at 64 against the manufacturer's 62. A number that migrates between rows of the same table is a specific and repeatable failure, and it is invisible to a checker that only asks whether a figure appears somewhere on the source page.
- Recommendation changed
- Yes
- Two verdicts flipped. Against the Segway Xaber 300 we had called top speed for the SS 3.0 at 62 to 60; both are 60, so it is a tie. Against the Sur-Ron Ultra Bee we called it a win at 62 to 59; one mile per hour is inside the noise, so it is level. And the SS 2.0 comparison is now stronger than we wrote it: the two bikes have identical top speeds, so the upgrade buys battery, power and features, not speed.
- How it was caught
- spec-delta guard, after a certification research pass flagged the source page
