Price → Rawrr, decisively. $3,899 vs $4,990 — the Mantis Pro is about $1,090 cheaper and the faster bike, which is an unusual combination. That's roughly a full set of protective gear plus a spare charger, or 28% more bike for your money on paper. The Talaria has to earn that premium back on support and versatility, and for a lot of riders it does — but the burden of proof now sits on the more expensive bike.

Battery → Talaria (but same range). The MX5 Pro's 2,880 Wh pack is bigger than the Rawrr's 2,520 Wh, yet real range lands the same (~35 mi) — the Rawrr's extra power eats the difference. Call range a tie.

July's price moves made this less close than it was. The Rawrr Mantis X Pro is now both the faster and the cheaper bike — more power, 6 mph more top speed, and about $1,090 less — which makes it the default pick for anyone buying on performance-per-dollar. The Talaria MX5 Pro earns its premium in exactly one place, and it's a real one: the second-deepest parts network in the class, plus dual-sport versatility. Over a multi-year ownership with mods and repairs, that network is worth money too — it just has to be worth $1,090 to you. If you ride hard and wrench often, it probably is.
